Monica has been helping people create healthier lives for more than 15 years through her Nutrition Diva podcast, books, online coaching programs and in-person workshops. As a licensed and board-certified nutritionist, her approach is grounded in science but is also practical and realistic. Monica is also a former professional opera singer.
Brock is a certified fitness coach with more than a decade of experience working with people of all fitness levels to increase their strength, mobility, and ability to enjoy life to the fullest. Through his Get-Fit Guy podcast he teaches that the real value of fitness is rooted in the basics of daily movement itself, not in how much weight you lift or how far you run. Brock is also a former triathlete and professional ballet dancer.
I am amazed at how much the Weighless program has affected my thinking. In my diet mindset, I had to find the perfect time to "start" a diet....there could not be a wedding, party, or holiday around the corner. I now see that life is full of special occasions and you need to learn to navigate them and take them in stride. I can't say enough good things about my new attitude.
I don't eat meat (or dairy or wheat or whatever). Will I be able to follow the program?
Yes, definitely! The Weighless approach accommodates any and all dietary preferences, restrictions, and requirements. There are no required or forbidden foods and no one-size-fits-all dogma. We believe there are many ways to put together a healthy and nutritious diet. Our goal is to help you discover what works best for your body, metabolism, lifestyle, and preferences.
Will we get meal plans?
No, Weighless doesn’t set meal plans - and we promise this is good news! For one thing, prescribed meal plans are often inconvenient and unnecessarily rigid. For another, we believe that relying on an outside authority to tell you what to eat ultimately undermines your ability to know what, when, and how much to eat. Instead, we’ll help you develop the skills and confidence to make information- and value-based choices in a variety of situations and environments.
Does the program include exercise?
You can certainly exercise during the Weighless program, if that is something you enjoy. But we are going to focus on the other 23.5 hours of the day, after you cross “30 minutes of exercise” off your to-do list. You are going to learn to build more natural movement into your daily routines and increase your fitness all day long, without ever necessarily breaking a sweat.
Does the program provide one-on-one coaching?
Weighless provides individual attention in a group-coaching environment. We have found this to be far more effective than one-on-one coaching - because our private community becomes a powerful support for each member and a coach in its own right. The Weighless community is open only to current program participants and is grounded in mutual respect and consideration. How much time will the program take each week?
Plan to spend 30 - 45 minutes a week reading or listening to each week’s material and another 30 - 45 minutes on suggested activities or assignments. You can spend as much or as little time as you like interacting with us and your fellow members in the Weighless community. Once or twice a month, we will offer live videocasts and/or conference calls where you can ask your questions in real time. These will be recorded.
What does it cost?
The Weighless program is $1200 for the entire year, which includes weekly lessons, monthly coaching sessions, and daily support via our private online member forum. Payment plans are also available.
How can I be sure this will work for me?
Our approach has a proven track record of success. However, your results will ultimately depend on the choices you make. In order to help us (and you) assess whether this program is right for you, we will ask you to complete a brief application before enrolling. If upon reviewing your application we think it is not a good fit for you at this time, we will recommend against enrolling.
Will I have to buy anything else?
Other than a digital scale (for you, not your food!) there are no special foods, supplements, kitchen or exercise equipment required to participate. If you do not own one, you can purchase a basic scale for less than $20.
Do I need to be on Facebook?
No! Our member forum is completely private and secure, hosted on our membership site.
